Technology-Enriched Classrooms
Many of the classrooms on campus are technology-enriched with built-in multimedia equipment – VCRs, document cameras, computers and more.

Currently there are two technology-enriched classroom configurations:
Smart Classrooms and ITV/Polycom. Below is the description of the equipment and set up available.
SMARTBoard – is an interactive white board that allows control of the computer and several other tasks including writing, drawing and typing using special pens over any image, document or software being used. The SMART Notebook permits saving and sharing notes created on the SMARTBoard.
ITV/Polycom - allows for two-way video conferencing capability. Used in conjunction with Mediasite it permits the live webcast and subsequent archival of classroom lectures.
LCD Projector – mounted in the ceiling, the projector displays the images from computer and video equipment so that your whole class can see them.
PC – the computer has the basic Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access), Adober Acrobat Reader, media players and also provides Internet connectivity. It also includes USB ports for flash drives. The PC can also be used to play audio CDs and DVDs.
DVD-VCR Deck – this equipment allows you to play DVDs as well as videotapes. You can also use the input connections to send video signals from other equipment, using a special adapter.
Document Camera – is a presentation device that allows the user to present images of transparencies, books, maps or objects.
Sound System – ceiling mounted speakers and an amplifier.
