COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is part of the Early Childhood Education Professional Semester. Examines the content and methods of social studies education for young children in pre-primary and primary level (K-3) settings. This course develops an understanding of the concepts and skills for effective instruction in all aspects of social studies for children aged birth through grade 3.

PREREQUISTES:
Successful completion of all freshman, sophomore, and junior level professional and early childhood education required course work and received candidacy.
